Prevalence of patellofemoral pain among medical students in Egypt

Background: There is a wide variation of the prevalence patellofemoral pain (PFP), there limited studies concerning PFPS in Arabic population and specifically medical students universities. Objectives: The aim this study was to evaluate PFP Cairo University (aged 18–25 years) using self-report online questionnaire. Methods: present cross-sectional conducted city on 532 age 18-25 years. Data collected through Results: Overall rate 28.76%. higher females than males (23.5% 5.3%, respectively), it insignificantly associated with BMI, time sitting bending knee (P>0.05), while significantly standing (P<0.05). Conclusions: Patellofemoral common among young active males.
